Treeton Farm

Treeton Farm is located in the Margaret River region, Western Australia and produces the finest beef in WA.

Nestled amongst famous vineyards, breweries, cheese and chocolate factories, a select group of dedicated local farmers have been working passionately to create the exclusive high quality beef brand – Treeton Farm.

Only the finest Limousin, Charolais, Angus and Murray Grey cattle are hand selected for Treeton Farm. The cattle are raised on the cleanest undulating grasses and pure air and water of the South West region. Treeton Farm produces cattle without the use of hormonal growth promotants and are independently graded under the Meat Standards Australia (MSA) eating quality grading system for beef. The MSA trademark identifies beef that has been graded to consistently achieve customer satisfaction for tenderness, juiciness and flavour in conjunction with cooking methods.

Treeton Farm LogoThis meticulous selection process, coupled with 30 years experience in the farming industry guarantees you the highest quality beef in Australia.

Treeton Farm beef is grass fed on rich pastures during Spring and grain fed in the drier months. The primal cuts of beef are aged to achieve maximum tenderness utilising the Meat Standards Australia grading system achieving MSA 5 star tenderloins, MSA 4 star cube rolls and striploins.

Johnson MeatsJOHNSON MEATS WINS TOP PRIZE AT THE BEEF CARCASS AWARD 2019

The quality steer, which was believed to be a Murray Grey-Charolais, was awarded the grand champion carcase title when it finished on the highest allocation of 86.7 points.

The Dimasi family, of Paradise Beef, at Donnybrook, were awarded the top prize at the beef carcase award presentations at this year’s Perth Royal Show.

Their efforts to prepare a 150-day fed Murray Grey cross steer was a collaboration with the steer’s owners, Johnson Meats principals Terry and Kellee Russell, who also run their Cowtown Grazing property, at Boyup Brook.

The Russells accepted the award for their part in securing the steer from the saleyards through the expert advise of independent agent Greg Jones.
“It was our first entry into the carcase competition, and we made the grade with a grand champion carcase win,” Mr Russell said.
“Gary Dimasi and his very capable staff have prepared show-winning carcases in the past, but he did us proud with our first contract-fed show steer.”
The Russells’ steer was earlier judged reserve champion heavyweight in front of the eyes of judge Andrew Raff, of Raff Angus, at King’s Island, at Tasmania.
